Officers

The Society has been blessed by the talent and dedication of the Officials, Officers, Trustees, Council Members and Volunteers that have founded and run Cumbria FHS.

Some have acted in key roles for very long periods. 

Our longest serving president was Roy Huddleston (our first) for 16 years.

The record term as Chairman is Trevor Littleton in place for 14 years, who also served continuously on Council for 28 years.

John Hartley was Treasurer for 17 years.

And the unbeatable contribution to the Society was made by our founder Margaret Russell who served as our first Secretary for 30 years,
